Rugby League returns to Hong Kong for the first time since 2019 when the Hong Kong Select faces the Rest of the World in a one off event at Kings Park in Kowloon this Saturday.

With COVID-19 forcing the cancelation of the Hong Kong Nines, Island of Origin and Hong Kong Super League in 2020 and 2021, this weekend’s match is hoped to help reinvigorate interest in the code and see the return of regular competitions in 2023.

The Hong Kong Select will play in a replica of the Hong Kong Residents jersey (white with a red and blue chevron), whilst the Rest of the World side will play in a predominately black kit.

Kick off for the match will be 7:30pm local time.

The last competitive match played in Hong Kong was Pacific Toa against Wanchai Warriors.
