Twenty teams are set to descend on Prince Charles Park in Nadi this weekend for the inaugural Sabeto Nines competition.
The pre-season competition is the first of an expanded number of nine-a-side competitions planned for the Pacific Nation in 2022, which includes the inaugural Fiji National Nines series and the Fiji Cup Nines.
Teams taking part in this weekend’s tournament in Nadi include the Coastline Roos, Police Sharks, Yasawa Saints and Ravoravo Rabbitohs.
Teams have been broken into four pools of five, with each side playing each other once before the competition finals.
