The Sāo Paulo Raiders have qualified for the 2021 Brasil Men’s National Grand Final after the team defeated local rivals, Taubaté, 38 – 28 in Saturday’s Semi Final.

Played at CERET Park in Sāo Paulo, the Raiders continued their undefeated run in this year’s Premiership, to qualify for next week’s decider against the Screaming Owls of Urutau.

The Grand Final, will be played at 3pm local time in Taubaté, with Urutau looking to defend their National Premiership title. Sāo Paulo will be keen however to continue their undefeated season, which also saw them collect the National Nines title earlier in the year.

The 2021 Brasil Men’s Premiership featured six teams broken into two pools of three. Each team played each other in the pool home and away to decide the competition Semi Finalists. Sāo Paulo were grouped with Taubaté and the Rio Sharks in Grupo Sudeste. The other group, Grupo Sul featured the Maringa Hawks, Umuarama and Urutau.
