The finalists for the 2021 Moresby South Men’s, Women’s and Under 20’s competitions have been decided after the final round of the regular season was played over the weekend.
Following the COVID-19 lockdowns, the Moresby South RFL elected to fast track the Finals Series to ensure a winner can be declared in each of the competitions.
The Gabutu Dragons finished as Minor Premiers in the Under 20’s and Women’s competitions, whilst the Kaugere Bulldogs claimed the title in the Men’s Open-Age competition.
The 2021 Moresby South Finals system will follow a similar structure to the NRL’s top eight, with the top four teams playing off in the Qualifying Finals, whilst the bottom four will play in the Elimination Finals.
