Mendi sealed the match with a try in the 75th minute to record a 30 – 20 victory, their fifth for the season, but will be concerned with how many points they leaked in the game.

Leading 12 – 4 at halftime, the Muruks had their opportunities to shut down the match when they scored early in the second half to lead by 14, but the Eagles kept chipping away at their lead.
