The Valley Diehards and Burleigh Bears continued their undefeated starts to the BHP Premiership, recording big wins against the visiting Valkyries and Central Queensland Capras respectively.

At Emerson Park in Brisbane, the Diehards showcased the talent of the 2021 squad running out 64 – 6 winners, whilst the Bears defeated the Capras 36 – 16.

Tiana Raftstrand-Smith, Brittany Breayley-Nati, Crystal Tamarua and Tazmin Gray all starred for the Bears at Pizzey Park, giving the home team a 24 – 6 lead at halftime.

The West Brisbane Panthers celebrated their first win of the season with a gusty display against Brisbane Tigers, coming away with a 20-14 win at Totally Workwear Stadium.

Welcoming back Queensland Maroons centre Julia Robinson, the Panthers were able to edge an ever improving Tigers outfit, whilst up at Jack Manski Oval in Townsville, the captain Romy Teitzel helped the North Queensland Gold Stars captain to a 26 – 4 win.
