The M3 Bulldogs, Top Street Hawks and Talapia Magpies have all progressed to Week Two of the Morata Off-Season Rugby League Finals Series after winning their respective Quarter Finals at Kone Tigers Oval last weekend.

In Week One of the Finals, teams three to six of Pools A and B played off in a series of Elimination Finals. Kicking off proceedings was the Talapia Magpies, who thanks to a last minute try from five-eighth Clinton Max, defeated the Waga Rats 10 – 6.

In the other Finals played, the Top Street Hawks overcame the Rainbow Tribes 7 – 6 after hooker Raipa Robert slotted the decisive field goal in the finals minutes of the game, whilst the M3 Bulldogs defeated the Community Hall Tigers winning 8 – 4 in their respective Final.

The fourth scheduled Quarter Final, between the M2 Mumuts and Kongo Rats is yet to be played with the winner of that match to face the Megusa Brothers.

In the scheduled Week Two Finals, the M3 Bulldogs will face the Mautana Roosters, whilst the Top Street Hawks will face the Gateway Sharks and the Talapia Magpies will take on the Giburi Raiders.
