Eleven participants are set to take part in the 2020/21 TNA Cup which was launched earlier this week at the Dickson’s Field in Kundiawa.
The competition, which is based around the Chimbu (Simbu) Province in the Papua New Guinea Highlands, will run for 10 weeks before the Finals, and will be used to help identify players for the Simbu Warriors Digicel Cup franchise, if they are successful in being admitted for the 2021 Digicel Cup season.
Matches will kick off this weekend in Kundiawa.
The TNA Cup was established in 2004 to provide an opportunity for players from remote centres in the Chimbu province to be identified and progress their Rugby League careers.
