Wednesday’s third and final game of the inaugural Army Tri-Nations Tournament will double as the tournament Grand Final after the United Kingdom Army Rugby League team defeated the New Zealand Army 24 – 18.

With the Australian Army Thunder team defeating New Zealand 24 – 6 in the competition opener last Thursday, the victor to week’s clash between the British and Australian teams will also become the inaugural trophy holders.

Hosted by the Queensland Rugby League and West Brisbane Panthers, the Army Tri-Nations is the first major International Army-only Rugby League event.

Wednesday’s Final will kick off at 4pm at Purtell Park in West Brisbane.
